Club Penguin is making everything for members again!

They get free knight armor,

but non-members get the very old wizards hat!
I think Club Penguin is becoming a game where you have to pay. A non-member is just like a guest. He can’t do much. He can’t get much.

Club Penguin is doing more than trying to get members. They are discouraging non-members (which they are trying to make members) stop playing.

We have to stop this!

The Great Reason for this All-For-Members time!

Disney has spent £250 million to acquire children’s site Club Penguin, with the promise of $350 million more in two years.

Disney has spent $350 million to acquire the popular children’s web site Club Penguin, in a deal that could give the site owners an additional $350 million later.

It’s a move by the giant in children’s entertainment to consolidate its position on the Internet.

Club Penguin was founded in 2005 by three fathers from British Columbia. It’s a subscription site with over 700,000 members. Users are able to customize penguin characters and then play and chat together online.

Under the deal, Disney is paying $350 million now, with up to another $350 million at the end of 2009 if the site meets growth targets set by Disney.

Disney redesigned its own site at the beginning of 2007, but it’s been losing ground to younger, fresher sites in recent years. The company plans to make Club Penguin part of its brand, with consumer products and possibly a theme park ride. Part of the strategy is to make Club Penguin known in Europe and Asia.

“While it is not a global brand today, our intent is to make it one,” said Robert A. Iger, Disney’s chief executive.

Club Penguin experienced 4.7 million unique visitors in June, a rise of 159% over the year before. The site will continue to be managed by its founders.

So they are trying to make $350,000,000 with the members! But I still think that they are overdoing it…

And soon… Maybe 10,000 penguins (non-member)  shall quit and club penguin shall be deserted which will make it boring and more penguins will quit then more until Club Penguin runs out of money…

The white puffle will be available on this Friday! I think it will be for members… It isn’t fair. Soon almost all non-members will quit and there will be no more new members and some members will quit because there are little penguins and so on!

Anyway the St. Patricks party will be from March 13 (Friday) – March 17 (Tuesday)!

If you go to the Snow Forts, there will be more Snow Forts with some puffles in them!
